How to Vote
Voting is easy! Here are three ways to participate in electing your Conseillers des Français de l’Étranger in the American Great Southwest.

Are you registered?
To vote, you must be registered on the consular electoral list. Make sure your contact details (email and phone number) are up to date on Service-Public.gouv.fr — they’re required to receive your online voting credentials.

May 22 – 27, 2026
- 1Make sure your email and phone number are up to date on Service-Public.gouv.fr.
- 2You’ll receive your login credentials by email starting May 12 (see below).
- 3Log in to the online voting portal with your credentials or via France Identité.
- 4Follow the instructions, vote, and confirm — done!
Good to know : The portal is open from May 22 at 12:00 PM to May 27 at 12:00 PM (Paris time), which is May 22 at 3:00 AM to May 27 at 3:00 AM (Pacific time).
Proxy Voting
Before May 30, 2026
- 1Choose a trusted person registered on the same consular electoral list.
- 2Head to maprocuration.gouv.fr to set up your proxy online.
- 3Have your request validated at the consulate, by an honorary consul, or via France Identité.
- 4On election day, your proxy votes on your behalf — nothing else for you to do!
Good to know : Your proxy must vote at your polling station, not theirs.
In-Person Voting
May 30, 2026
- 1Find your polling station — you’ll receive this info by email or mail.
- 2Head to your polling station on Saturday, May 30.
- 3Bring a valid French ID (passport or national identity card).
- 4Vote in the booth and drop your ballot in the box!
Good to know : You can only vote at the polling station assigned to your registered address.
